Children's
Dental Care
Protecting your child’s oral health from decay and disease is very important. Ensuring that they maintain good dental hygiene in their early years is crucial so that they can avoid dental health problems in the future.
We provide regular check-ups for children before their first teeth have even erupted and encourage parents to bring their children in for a check-up as soon as possible.
When they visit the practice, children will be given all the information and education they need to maintain good dental hygiene. This includes information around the dangers of sugar and damaging foods and drinks. They will learn how to properly brush, floss and care for their own teeth, establish a good oral hygiene routine, and set up a good relationship with the dentist. With regular check-ups, this can help to prevent any development of dental phobia and dental anxiety as they grow up. Preventative treatments are also provided for children, such as fluoride applications. This can help to protect teeth from any developing decay and damage.
